In 1971, Jim Morrison died.  The Rolling Stones launched their own record label.  Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice tool Jesus Christ, Superstar to Broadway.  The Osmonds were big, and songwriters James Taylor and Carole King appeared on the charts.  I graduated from college and married the lovely and talented Barbara Jane Gray.
